Uncover the truth about Fikrul, the Scorn and their whereabouts.

Who is Fikrul?
Fikrul, The Fanatic was once an Archon to the Prime Servitor, Kalkiks Prime within the House of wolves (group of alien wayfarers). Sometime after the Taken War, Uldren Sov (now Crow) found a Fikrul wounded, during his search for Mara Sov, and wished for Fikrul to be saved.
Somehow, Riven, a Taken Ahamkara heard this wish and granted it! By infusing some of Uldrens Darkness intro, Fikrul’s Ether, which created “Dark Ether” making him first Scorn.
Fikrul revered Uldren, calling him Father, going on to help Uldren Sov, with a conquest to destroy the House of wolves, and betraying his former Eliksni, infecting each of them with dark either
On August 21st, Bungie debuted their newest expansion, The Final Shape, a cataclysmic event of immense size and scale. The Endgame of Destiny is finally upon us, and the expansion promises to deliver on every front.
In the midst of all the excitement, something caught my eye! The Bungie team discussed post-Final Shape story and content. As a fan of the Destiny story and lore, you can imagine my excitement.

What’s After The Final Shape?
Not only did we receive concepts for the seasonal narrative, but we also got a plethora of information about what fans can expect from the story and content going forward in Destiny. Bungie has introduced three Episodes, a new term for story updates previously called Seasons. While the format didn’t necessarily need a change, as a lore buff, I feel confident this is a step in the right direction. Now, let’s talk about what you really came to read about: Fikrul!

Scorn In The EDZ

During the Season of the Wish, players would have gained access to the “Buried Bloodline” exotic armament. A reward which is available to players willing to throw their lot-in with a chance to score this sweet crossbow. And with it arrived an intriguing lore entry.
The Master of the Scorn has returned, with Fikrul gathering a large following and noting the emergence of free Scorn across the Reef and Earth. This is unusual since Scorn are created through Dark Ether, historically exclusive to them, with no records of Eliksni obtaining it. The appearance of unaffiliated Scorn suggests someone is supplying Dark Ether to Eliksni or an Ahamkara is granting wishes.
At the Warlords Ruins, an Ahamkara named Hefnd gained the power to take, raising questions about whether Oryx or the Witness took more Ahamkara. The emergence of more Scorn on Earth raises questions about Dark Ether’s availability, or if Uldren Sov’s wish to Riven is still active. Fikrul is the only known Scorn able to create more Scorn, and the capture of Eliksni by Scorn is intriguing, as we haven’t seen them communicate or interact before.
Where is Fikrul?

The Fallen no longer have a world to call home. A planet called Riis — Once their home, has been left behind. Now, they are looking for a new home across the galaxy.
Fikrul has returned! Empowered by and Echo, I talked about this in my “Who is the Conductor?” article, if you have read it you might want to. With this new power-in-toe, Fikrul is this Echo to build a new army of darkness.
Taking up residence within an Awoken watchtower, dubbed by Bungie developers as “Vampire Keep.” the story beat for this episode has set the bar quite high. The story of the Eliksni has been a long and arduous journey, for a people with nowhere to call home.
Recently, I made a lore video discussing the importance of Fikrul’s story and where the future could hold for the Milk Way Galaxy as a whole 👇🏾.
